The Cause
Besides being a world class event, The BB&T Gate City Half Marathon and 8k benefits Foster Friends of NC. The mission and vision of Foster Friends of NC is to provide a brighter future to children experiencing foster care. By offering educational, extra curricular, and life skills opportunities through various FFNC programs, we provide financial assistance that the state government does not cover.
Race Results
We make it easy to see how you did. All race results will be update on race day and PBC Photography will be onsite to capture the action. Runner photos will be uploaded online within 48 hours of race day.
The Course
Only in the Gate City will you experience Southern Hospitality at its finest! Come run in Greensboro, NC at the BB&T Gate City Half Marathon and 8K on Saturday, April 6, 2013 and enjoy a course that starts and ends on historic North Elm Street in downtown Greensboro.
